    The Batavia school district has, among other things, instructed high school teacher John Dryden to stop using sarcasm when talking to students, to not give them legal advice, and to run any concerns he has about anything past administrators before telling students, according to the letter of remedy issued Tuesday. Dryden is being disciplined for telling students they had a Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate themselves before administering a school survey about emotions and behaviors, including drug and alcohol use.
