This month, he opened the Village Vintner Winery and Brewery along Randall Road in Algonquin.The business, at 2380 Esplanade Drive,not only serves wine and beer, but it also is a full-service lunch and dinner restaurant.

Same name, new restaurant: Napolitano’s in South Elgin May 7, 2012 12:00 AM
It may have the same name, but the new Napolitano's along Randall Road in South Elgin is its own, new, unique restaurant. Owner Noubar Hawe took over the building at 455 Reddington Drive, which was vacant, and kept the name on the awning. The business reopened two weeks ago, near the intersection of Randall and McDonald roads, and already there are regulars excited to see a family-friendly Italian restaurant in their neighborhood.

This spring, Algonquin Commons will be sprouting with many new businesses opening along the Randall Road corridor. The first new business to open will be Yogen Fruz. It is expected to open within the next two weeks, said Beth Hicks, marketing director for the outdoor mall.

When Nationwide Freight Systems, Inc. needed a new home, it didnt have to look too far. Its new spot currently is under construction along the Randall Road corridor in Elgin, not far from its existing spot, also in Elgin. The company will be moving to 1385 Madeline Drive in Elgin, near Randall and Big Timber roads.

Flying out front of Georgia’s Restaurant along Randall Road in Algonquin is an American flag with special meaning to restaurant owner Harry Kulubis and his family. The flag was flown on an official U.S. combat mission over Afghanistan on Feb. 11, Kulubis’ birthday.
