    As 4-year-old Mia Gurevitz of Deerfield undergoes treatment for a brain tumor at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Culver’s of Buffalo Grove will host a ‘Day of Giving” fundraiser, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., on Monday, September 8, at its location at 450 McHenry Rd. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of its register receipts collected throughout the day to the Gurevitz family.

    EXCITING NEW VENUE FOR BG SINGERS 22nd ANNUAL SHOW(Buffalo Grove Park District, Buffalo Grove, IL) — The Buffalo Grove Park District ‘ s BG Singers will perform their 22nd annual choral concert as they present “Welcome to the Theater” on Friday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 21 at 3 p.m. at the Community Arts Center, 225 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove.Director Linda Rosen and choreographer Charla Silver named this year’s show “Welcome to the Theater” in celebration of the Singers’ new permanent home — a state of the art theater in the new Buffalo Grove Community Arts Center. Like many Broadwaytheaters and contemporary concert venues, the theater is equipped with an innovative Meyer Sound System.
