Dredge, 20, of Maple Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 7:40 p.m. Sunday after he hit a utility pole and crashed into a cornfield near Perry and Harter roads near Maple Park, according to a sheriff’s report.
