    Democratic officials in Palatine and Wheeling townships admit that while it may not be realistic to think their new candidates can win, it's important that state Sens. Matt Murphy and David Page and state Rep. Tom Morrison at least have some opposition in the November election. They're putting David Page, Curt Renz and Rich Rudd, only one of whom has ever held office, on the ballot in hopes of forcing the incumbents to be more moderate.
