Though the “offensive nude image” was not pornographic, officials said it was inappropriate both because it was disseminated through the school district’s email system and because it was sent to students.

The inappropriate email was sent Tuesday night to a “large number of Fremd High School students,” and Palatine police were immediately notified, Principal Kurt Tenopir said in an informational email sent to parents just after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Holt took down his original post Monday.
