The IHSA's sanctions include placing the teams on probation for one calendar year, and having team players complete courses on sportsmanship to avoid suspensions. The coaches of both teams are expected to take a seminar on teaching and modeling behavior. Lanphier principal Artie Doss says he plans to hold meetings with parents and students to outline expectations for behavior at future games.
