    Carol Stream firefighters rescued a beagle from Bartlett who became trapped inside an underground concrete pipe for roughly 24 hours after bolting from her owner to chase a squirrel. “As I was talking to the garbage man, I heard barking underneath me,” the owner said, “I ran into the store and we got flashlights and looked into the culvert and I could see her butt wriggling and her tail wagging.”
