  • Park Ridge honors good Samaritans who saved Mount Prospect man May 13, 2014 3:32 PM
    Park Ridge officials Monday night honored the emergency responders and good Samaritans credited with saving the life of a Mount Prospect man earlier this year after he suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel of his car. Jim Maglieri, 56, didn't have a pulse when rescuers pulled him from his vehicle March 20 after it crashed near the intersection of Talcott Road and Devon Avenue.

One of them was the May 2-3 Garage Sale in Palatine, which benefited Arthritis Research, the sorority's international philanthropy. On April 30 at the Panhellenic Scholarship Banquet each sorority's choice of Outstanding Alum for the year is revealed. Diane Pellettiere of Palatine was AOII's. Another chapter member, Danielle Parrillo of Chicago, became Delegate to Panhellenic and also its Vice President.
