Arlington Hts. voter appalled by low turnout May 15, 2011 12:00 AM
Leter: I am 28 years old and a disabled voter who has not missed an election since I was 18. I went to vote at this year’s election for Arlington Heights and found out that only 10 percent cast their ballots for this year election. I know I hear a lot from people saying that “they don’t know who to vote for, I don’t like this candidate,” and what I don’t understand most is they say that their voices are not heard. Which that is not true, our voices are heard.
