Shortly after East’s win over rival St. Charles North last weekend, the 6-foot-2 junior guard who held Northwestern commit Jordan Nash to 5 points in a 6-point loss to St. Joseph on Nov. 28, had an entire week of preparation for his defensive assignment against two-time defending Upstate River champ Larkin.
