Malloy, recognizing the need for God’s grace and forgiveness in the lives of Catholics, has again asked the 105 parishes in the 11-county diocese to add Wednesday, March 25, to their regular Lenten confession calendar and, where possible, to offer confessions that day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • McHenry Health department offers free prostate screenings Mar 9, 2015 10:14 AM
    McHenry County Department of Health will continue to offer free prostate cancer screenings in March and April. Since the program began Feb. 7, staff members have screened 70 men, age 50 and older, using the Prostate Specific Antigen blood test. The 20-minute screening also includes a heart age analysis as well as health education.
