College of DuPage students Olivia Barron and Robert Hickok will be spending their summer serving internships at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) researching the intricacies of biophysics and gaining invaluable real-world experiences. During the prestigious internship, the students will be working as a part of IIT Physics Professor Dr. Jeff Wereszczynski's research group.

COD Seeking Host Families for German Exchange Students

College of DuPage is seeking school-year hosts for German participants of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX). "This program is a wonderful cultural experience for our German participants, as well as an exciting opportunity for our hosts," said CBYX program coordinator Bårbel Thoens -Masghati. "Participants and hosts can learn a lot about each other both culturally and personally and develop lifelong friendships."

ADDISON-- Senator Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park) and Addison Township Supervisor Kathryn Cermak-Durante will host a Community Senior Fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, July 20 at the Addison Township Building. State and local programs will be on hand to give out information and answer questions.
