Zimmerman discussed the properties of liquid nitrogen and its effects on air, liquids and solids. "I want kids to think that science is exciting, science is fun, and that science is fun to learn in school," he said.

She recently penned and published her first children's book, "Madeleine's Light," based on the real-life relationship between the French sculptor Camille Claudel and a girl who modeled for several of her sculptures in the late 19th century.
