The Champps sports bar near the Woodfield Mall -- where Chicago Blackhawks owner Rocky Wirtz first met future team President John McDonough -- will be leveled in the coming weeks to make way for a new McDonald's, according to Schaumburg officials.

The Woodfield Area Children's Organization will hold its 15th annual Wingfest and Bags Tournament from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Drink, 871 E. Algonquin Road in Schaumburg. The $30 admission buys all-you-can-eat wings and two drink tickets. Everyone must be 21 or older to enter.
New Dunkin' Donuts coming to Touhy and Elmhurst in Elk Grove

A new Dunkin' Donuts is coming to the corner of Touhy Avenue and Elmhurst Road in Elk Grove Village. "I'll just be happy to see that place cleaned up," Trustee James Petri said. "That corner is awful and the sooner you can get that cleaned up, the more we'll appreciate it."
