Des Plaines Park District Hosting Job Fair for Summer Employment

The Des Plaines Park District is hosting a Job Fair from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, January 9 at Prairie Lakes Community Center in the Mountain View rooms. Job opportunities include: lifeguards, pool attendants, camp counselors, concession staff, Mountain View Adventure Center Staff and more. Interested individuals are encouraged to stop by and get information about each of the positions and job requirements. Park District staff will be on hand to answer any questions and schedule interviews. On-site interviews may be available for those who have completed the online application prior to the Job Fair. Each summer the Park District employs over 200 young people in these various positions. "We are always looking for bright, energetic and enthusiastic people to apply for these summer jobs," said Linda Traina, Superintendent of Recreation. "There are a host of benefits to working at the Park District," Traina added, "quality job experience for college applications and resumes, flexible hours, and working outdoors with old and new friends, just to name a few."
