Bill Frederick's ‘Here Comes Trouble’ exhibit at CLCMay 23, 2012 12:00 AM
An exhibit of 23 works by a Chicago painter Bill Frederick under the title "Bill Frederick: Here Comes Trouble" will be on view at the College of Lake County Gallery of Art through June 29. Frederick uses simple materials of brush, ink, watercolor and paper, and his work expresses his preoccupations with friends and family, history, geography and a nagging sense of dread.

At just 14, Grace Duval can't wait to graduate from College of Lake County and start working toward her bachelor's degree at University of Illinois-Chicago. The Mundelein resident will be the youngest graduate when she receives her diploma Saturday. "I've definitely felt young, but I've just been so blessed by the experience that I've had," Grace said.

To celebrate the writing and artistic talents represented in CLCs two annual literary publications, Willow Review and Prairie Voices, readings will be held April 19 and 30 at the Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St. Both events are free and open to the public.
