For the eighth straight season, Northwestern will compete in the final four of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The Wildcats (19-2) will play Maryland (19-3) on Friday at the Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, N.Y. The winner will take on either No. 4 Syracuse or No. 1 Florida for the national title on May 27.

Laurie Fine held a news conference Wednesday and threatened to file a libel lawsuit in federal court against the cable network and two employees.
