Late night flooding of the Fox River near Cary forced the continued closure of the Rawson Bridge in unincorporated McHenry County near the village. Most of Rawson Bridge Road lies within the Cary Fire Protection District, while the Wauconda Fire Protection District covers a small part of it.

Injured teen found on Cary street May 18, 2012 12:00 AM
A teenage boy was transported to the hospital by helicopter Friday night after he was found lying in the middle of a residential street in Cary. The victim, who is about 15 or 16, was suffering from head injuries when emergency crews found him about 8 p.m. at the intersection of Montana Drive and Bristol Way, according to Capt. Man still in critical after Monday night crash Jan 18, 2011 12:00 AM
A 28-year-old man remains in critical condition after a two-vehicle car crash Monday evening in Oakwood Hills. Dennis Marr, 28, was among five people involved in the crash, which took place at approximately 7 p.m. on Rawson Bridge Road between Brittany Drive and Del Miller Lane, Oakwood Hills Police Department Sgt. Peter Goldman confirmed.

Four people were hurt during a two-car crash early Monday evening in Cary, according to authorities. Rawson Bridge Road was closed for about 90 minutes while emergency personnel were on the scene about a half-mile west of South Rawson Bridge Road, said Lt. Marty Sroka of the Cary Fire Protection District.
