    Incumbents in the race for Cary Elementary District 26 hold a slim lead over the lone challenger with 14 of 21 precincts reporting. Scott Coffey holds the early lead with 834 votes with Kevin Carrick and Jason Larry next with 792 and 779 votes, respectively, for one of three, 4-year terms. Challenger Joseph Alfe has 697 votes.
