    An Interfaith Solar Social will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin. A call to the faith community to solarize houses of worship throughout Chicagoland is planned by the Illinois Solar Energy Association as part of their Solar Social program.
