Bloomingdale homes school boundary swap denied May 1, 2012 12:00 AM
Two subdivisions of 25 homes in Bloomingdale will remain within the school district boundaries of Glenbard High School District 87 and Marquardt Elementary District 15, even though residents there sought to detach their properties and annex into two other nearby school districts.

Bloomingdale Dist. 13 names new superintendent Nov 30, 2011 12:00 AM
After saying they wanted a candidate with academic, financial and community leader experience, this week officials in Bloomingdale School District 13 named John Bartelt as its new superintendent. Bartelt comes from River Grove Elementary School District 85.5 and will replace retiring Superintendent Kim Perkins just before the start of the 2012-13 school year.

Bloomingdale school launches Veterans Day program Nov 8, 2010 12:00 AM
To learn a little more about Veterans Day this year, students at DuJardin Elementary School will close their books and open their ears instead.
