Geneva doubles up Batavia May 21, 2013 12:00 AM

The Vikings scored twice in the opening 11 minutes, raced to a 4-0 lead over the first 41 minutes and held on for a 4-2 win over the Bulldogs.

Even the bitter part, a loss in the sectional final to Naperville Central's No. 1 seed Wesley Lo and Sid Swamy, wasn't that bad, and it certainly did little to dampen the sweet part of earning a trip to the state tournament.
