Hicks Rd., will present its 12th Annual Midtown 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, September 27, at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds benefit Bears Care, which is committed to improving the quality of life for people in the Chicagoland community, especially disadvantaged children and their families, through targeted programs supporting education, youth athletics, and medical research and health awareness programs focusing on breast and ovarian cancer. Since inception in 2002, the Midtown 5K Run & Walk has raised more than $300,000 for Bears Care, the official charity of the Chicago Bears.

They say their roads are being clogged by unlawful, unsafe riders. Cyclists, meanwhile, say they're being driven off the road, harassed and even pelted with objects as they ride by.
