Just Food Initiative seeking donations, volunteers on Giving Tuesday Nov. 30

The Batavia-based Just Food Initiative of the Fox Valley, a nonprofit committed to building sustainable and just food systems, is hosting its first Giving Tuesday campaign.

Giving Tuesday, on Nov. 30, is a national effort to encourage people everywhere to give to charities as part of their holiday gift giving. Today, hundreds of millions of people around the world participate.

Just Food is seeking financial donations and additional volunteers as part of its inaugural Giving Tuesday campaign.

Checks with unrestricted, tax-deductible donations can be sent to: The Just Food Initiative of the Fox Valley, 1911 W. Wilson St., PMB 299, Batavia, IL 60510.

Or donations can be made electronically via Zelle at donate2JFI@gmail.com.

Donors of $50 or more will be eligible to receive a custom 2022 Just Food calendar.
