Livingston Awards honor Glenbard District 87 students' caring acts

Each year, 10 students from each Glenbard District 87 high school are presented with the Livingston Human Relations Awards.

The award honors students who have demonstrated real concern for others and have promoted positive, caring relationships among social groups regardless of race, sex, religion, ethnicity, economic level, physical ability or academic prowess. The award is named in honor of former Glenbard District 87 Superintendent Raymond Livingston.

Congratulations to the 2020 Livingston Human Relations Awards recipients:

• Glenbard East High School: Deshaun Clark, Kaliyah Donald, Gabriela Galvan Olguin, Erika Hasanaj, Kejona Holmes, Andrea Jovanovich, Hannah Lombardi, Michael Severino, Elizabeth Shuert and Emmanuel Thompson

• Glenbard North High School: Lucy Arias, Arielle Capel, Madison Gordon, Steven James, Shray Komal, Dorothy Le, Hafsa Maghrebi, Theresa Nguyen, Jahquell Reese and Natalia Zaragoza

• Glenbard South High School: Faiz Hameed, Ryan Johnson, Syrai McKenzie-Dixon, Michaela Reif, Omer Siddiqi, Sarah Smalley, Taylor Solomon, Claire Solon, Sara VanPelt and Madaline Witort

• Glenbard West High School: Katlyn Anderson, Alan Avalos, Jillian Evans, Meg Farley, Roxy Geballe, Yousuf Kahn, Chloe Karp, Aline Lamadrid, Claudia Pyka and Anna Sear.
