Enjoy an evening of mystery and music with Chamber Music on the Fox Nov. 18

Get tickets for the annual fall fundraiser for Chamber Music on the Fox. "The Chamber (Music) of Secrets" will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at The Haight, 166 Symphony Way in downtown Elgin.

What do Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, and all your favorite classical composers have in common? They're all rather, well, deceased.

Join in an evening of mystery, macabre, and music to support the programming of the Chamber Music on the Fox and to celebrate the music of these ghosts of the chamber music past.

Enjoy crafted signature cocktails, silent auction and raffle prizes, themed gourmet bites, and an interactive evening featuring "live music by dead composers."

Tickets are $48.24, which includes a $3.24 service fee.

Enjoy a taste of the baroque to kick off the holiday season! The Callipygian Players Holiday Concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Imago, 216 Prairie St. in Elgin. Tickets are $20 or $10 for students.

The Callipygian Players, Chicago's premiere baroque chamber music ensemble, will sing Christmas carols and perform baroque instrumental music on period instruments. From the most traditional to the rarely heard, this is sure to be a festive and fascinating holiday concert.
