St. Philip the Apostle School to host free family STEM Night Feb. 28

St. Philip the Apostle School in Addison invites all area families to participate in its "STEM" Exploratory Program from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28.

The free program gives children (ages 5-14) and their parents a chance to visit various "stations" and participate in hands-on activities to learn more about science, technology, engineering and math.

Children who complete all four STEM activities will receive a special treat of cookies and cocoa.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is required; call the school office at (630) 543-4130. Current school families can register through the Schoolspeak Parent Portal.

The program will be held at St. Philip the Apostle School, 1233 W. Holtz Ave. in Addison, IL 60101.

St. Philip the Apostle School serves preschool through eighth grade students from Addison and the surrounding communities.

The school offers a family-friendly atmosphere that nurtures the Catholic faith, academic excellence and life-long service.

Its goal is to equip each of its students with the tools she or he needs to become leaders in faith and knowledge in the global community.
