Hanover Township seeks nominees for community service awards

Nominations are now open for the annual Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire Community Service Awards.

The awards recognize organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to make Hanover Township an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family.

Individuals and organizations can be nominated in any of six categories: Adult Volunteer (18 or older) Service Award; Senior Volunteer Service Award; Business Community Service Award; Mel Runzel Award; Youth (younger than 18) Volunteer Service Award; and Service Club/Organization.

Award applications are available at the Hanover Township Town Hall at 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett, or online at hanover-township.org. Nominations are due by Feb. 28.

Candidates will be judged on their leadership, commitment and impact in the community by a committee of volunteers.
