Dec. 7: 'An Evening of Magic & Illusion with Kevin Spencer' offers sensory-sensitive, magical fun for entire family at CLC's James Lumber Center

Fun for the whole family, engaging storytelling and audience participation are all part of "An Evening of Magic & Illusion with Kevin Spencer" at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the College of Lake County. The performance, inclusive for people of all abilities, takes place in the intimate Studio Theatre at CLC's James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts.

Extraordinary magician Kevin Spencer and his wife, Cindy, were named Illusionists of the Year in 2015 by the Milbourne Christopher Foundation, and in 2009, they received the Merlin Award for International Magicians of the Year. The James Lumber Center understands that patrons with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other special needs have unique and varying sensory issues, and that entering a large auditorium with many people can be challenging and overwhelming. The JLC staff will help provide sensory accommodations in a relaxed, supportive and welcoming environment for all audience members. Visit the James Lumber Center's website at www.clcillinois.edu/tickets for more information.

Tickets: $30 for adults; $29 for seniors, CLC staff and alumni: $15 for CLC students and teens; $10 for children. Prices do not include an additional $2 per ticket facility fee. The JLC Box Office is located on the Grayslake Campus, Room P112, and is open Monday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. To purchase tickets online, visit www.clcillinois.edu/tickets.
