MBX Cares helps Habitat for Humanity

Submitted by Jill Schmidt PR

For the seventh time since 2014, employees from Libertyville-based technology company MBX Systems volunteered their time on Nov. 7 to help Habitat for Humanity build better lives for needy McHenry County residents.

The recent event in Wonder Lake brought MBX's total Habitat for Humanity volunteer time to 832 hours, with projects ranging from home repairs, house painting, insulation installation and garage rebuilding to the latest new home build.

The event was part of MBX Cares, a company-sponsored philanthropic program that gives each full-time employee one paid day off every year to volunteer. MBX organizes more than a dozen volunteer activities annually and also allows employees to volunteer at a nonprofit organization of their choice.
