Singer-songwriter Peder Eide comes to Elgin church Oct. 7

Singer/songwriter Peder Eide will share the Gospel of Jesus through his music at a concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 340 Grand Blvd., Elgin. A free-will offering will be collected. He will lead the group in song with meaningful songs for the whole family. Visit blcelgin.org.

In conjunction with the theme of his latest CD releases, "Taste and See" and "See the Blue," Eide felt God calling him to a risky but heartfelt mission to unite moms and dads and brothers and sisters in one setting where they could "Taste Worship" together. Through this new ministry, families are exposed to the power of praying with and for one another. They are given with worship "ingredients" they mix into their lives, guiding them into a lifestyle of worship. This has proven to be wildly effective on a spiritual level, but equally fun and rewarding for families to grow in their bond together. To learn more about Peder Eide, visit www.pedereide.com.
