ECC celebrates 'I Dream in Color Week' Sept. 10-15
Elgin Community College will hold a series of events and activities on Monday, Sept. 10 to Friday, Sept. 15 during its first "I Dream in Color Week" celebration. All events are free, open to the public and will be held at ECC's Spartan Drive Campus, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, unless otherwise noted.
Below is a list of events that will take place during "I Dream in Color Week":
Bright Minds Breakfast
Monday, Sept. 10

I Dream in Color Kick-Off

Led by motivational speaker and entrepreneur Christopher Williams. Come join the movement!
Sin Fronteras (Without Borders): A Workshop on Building Multicultural and Multiracial Alliances and Partnerships
Tuesday, Sept. 11

A workshop to discuss what it takes to bridge the gap; led by Ramona Houston, PhD.
School Daze and Dinner

"I Dream in Color Week" is presented by ECC's Student Life Department, Black Student Achievers (BSA), Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS), Student Success Initiatives (SSI) Committee, School District U-46 and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
