Hoffman Estates Fall Registration Starts July 25

The Hoffman Estates Park District (HE Parks) begins registering for fall programs on Wed., July 25. The Fall Guide was delivered to all residents and is also available online at heparks.org/program_guide. The guide details hundreds of programs, classes, events, fitness memberships, dog park and swimming lessons available throughout the fall. This fall there are many new programs and events available including:

• Fishing Derby - Put your angling skills to the test in our new fishing derby on Sat. Aug. 4 at Fabbrini Park.

• Fall Garage Sale - Our spring Garage Sale is so popular we're repeating it on Sat. Sept. 8.

• 5K Run - Run the golf course this fall in our new 5K event on Sat. Nov. 3.

• Indian Dance Lessons - Available at Willow and Triphahn Center.

• Youth Nature Classes - Learn about raptors from our friends from Wings and Talons.

• Hockey Program - We've lowered the fees and added Saturday lessons. Visit Heparks.org/hockey

• Adult Corn Hole League - Relax with this new league at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club.

• 50+ 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament - Form your team and try something new. Starts Aug. 15.

• Trips for 50+ Club - There are 13 new trips planned this fall. See pages 42-43 of the program guide.

• Dog Safety and Obedience - Check out our new classes offered for your four-legged friend.

• Through a partnership with the Palatine Park District, kids in Hoffman can take acting classes.

• Lacrosse Clinic - This new program is a great cross-training activity for hockey players

"We are excited to offer so many new activities and programs this season," said HE Parks Director of Recreation and Facilities Mike Kies. "From free events and fun new classes, we're sure our residents will be busy this fall with plenty of fun activities."

Also included in the publication is the park district's newsletter, Park Perspectives, which is an informational newsletter about what is happening at the park district.
