Children's concerts offer musical, magical mayhem

These midday concerts in the park are just for the little ones to enjoy with fun-filled entertainment and music to get them singing, dancing and laughing in the summer sun.

The Children's Entertainment Series performances are held at noon Fridays at the Lions Park Bandshell and are free to the public.

On July 13, welcome Istvan and His Imaginary Band to the stage to perform smart lyrics with catchy, rocking songs that appeal to kids and adults alike. His style of music actively engages kids, encouraging them to sing, dance and play during the show. Adults appreciate the stellar songwriting as well as the humor that's sometimes intended just for them.

On July 27, John Measner's Magic Show takes the stage to delight his audience from children to adults. His performance casts a spell with live animals, music and comedy. Measner invites audience volunteers to share the spotlight and assist in the wonders of magic.

Enjoy a picnic in the park with your family and enjoy both of these wonderful performances.
