Hanover Park Library Offers Free Lunches and Snacks

Free lunches and snacks are available to children and teens age 18 and younger at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Rd. Lunches are served from noon until 1 p.m., and snacks from 4-5 p.m., and must be eaten in the library's Program Room. The program ends Friday, Aug. 17.

The Summer Food Service Program is offered through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by the Illinois State Board of Education. Anyone who meets the age requirements is welcome to stop by for a free lunch and/or snack Monday through Friday, during the times listed above. No documentation is required to receive the food.
