The Run for the Fox Charity 5K Run/Walk will be Saturday, July 14. Check-in will be at 5 p.m. at Carpenter Park, off Maple Avenue in Carpentersville.

Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m. Run or walk through old town Carpentersville to the paths along the Fox River and then finish up back at the park.

The event is stroller and dog-friendly. Afterward stay for live entertainment at Fest on the Fox.

Registration is $30 and includes T-shirt, wristband to beer garden (with proper ID) and one drink ticket.

When registering, select from a list of nonprofit charities that the Northern Kane County Chamber has partnered with: Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue in Gilberts, Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township, District 300 Food Pantry and Shop with a Cop of Dundee Township. A portion of your registration fee will be donated to the charity you choose.
