MCC offers college career workshop featuring job search strategies

If you're looking for a job, learn the latest job search strategies at a Job Search Strategies workshop offered by the Career Services Department at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

Job Search Strategies is offered from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 10, in Room A101.

Career Services coordinator Daniel Ortego will discuss where to look, who to ask, and how to develop strategies that will assist individuals in their employment search.

Another workshop, How to prepare for an Interview, will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 14, in Room A103.

Learn how to prepare for various types of job interviews. Learn about the structure of an interview and how to answer questions such as, "So tell me about yourself? and "Can you give me an example of a time when … ?"

The career workshops are free and open to the public.
