Bartlett Area Chamber Offers Opportunity to Experience the True Tuscan Culture - March 19-27, 2019
The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a unique opportunity for community members to experience a taste of the true Tuscan culture. Through a partnership with CI Destinations, the Chamber will offer a fully escorted, cost-effective tour of the Tuscany region from March 19-27, 2019. The Chamber will host an informational meeting from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, at the Bartlett Public Library District, 800 S. Bartlett Road to answer any questions regarding the trip. All are welcome to take advantage of this wonderful travel opportunity which features visits to Florence, Pisa & Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti Region, and Montecatini. An optional trip to Cinque Terre will be included at no additional charge for those attending the July 12 information session and making a deposit by Aug. 1 ($149 value). The trip is offered at $2,999 per person and includes round trip airfare, airline fuel surcharges, taxes and fees, seven nights at the Grand Hotel Tamerici, 10 Meals, sightseeing and admissions per itinerary, professional tour manager, baggage handling, and hotel transfers. Travelers making a deposit by August 1 will be offered a $100 discount, reducing the cost of the trip to $2,899. There is also an optional two-night post tour extension of Rome available at an additional cost.

This past April, 44 people were able to experience culture and history through a Chamber-sponsored trip to China. This proved very successful, so the Chamber explored various partnerships before settling on CI Destinations and selecting Tuscany as the 2019 travel opportunity. Tuscany offers a multitude of opportunities for visitors as the region is home to some of the most famous tourist attractions in all of Italy.
