Community Shred Day Scheduled at Township of Schaumburg for June 23, 2018

Township of Schaumburg Clerk Timothy M. Heneghan and the Board of Trustees will sponsor a free community shred event on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 9 - 11 AM, in the parking lot of the Schaumburg Township building, located at One Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates. Schaumburg Township residents must bring proof of residency. Businesses cannot participate.

Paper shredding and media destruction will be provided by Vanguard Archives. Paper shredding is limited to four unsealed bags or boxes no larger than 1 cubic foot or 15 x 12 x 10 in size. Paperclips, staples and rubber bands do not need to be removed. Media destruction is for items such as hard drives, thumb drives, backup tapes, etc.

Residents should remain in their vehicles and follow the arrows. Township employees and volunteers will unpack vehicles and direct traffic. Please call the Township (847-884-0030) or visit our website for more information.
