Golfers Tee Up in Support of Clearbrook at the 17th annual Women's Golf Classic

Women hit the links to benefit programs and services for children and adults with intellectual/development disabilities

Submitted by Clearbrook

The Clearbrook Women's Golf Classic returned for another great day on Monday, June 11, at The Grove Country Club in Long Grove. The outing kicked off with a breakfast, before players took to the green for an 18-hole scramble.

New to this year's event was a unique experience for all of the nongolfers. Nongolfer's had a chance to take a yoga class from Om on the Range Yoga Studio in Chicago and a tennis lesson from Midtown in Palatine.

Each hole on the course contained a surprise, from food tastings and drink samples to hole contests and games. The evening concluded with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a Kendra Scott jewelry pull, 50/50 cash raffle and a live and silent auction. This was an event where you could truly say there was something for everyone. It was perfect for both experienced golfers and beginners, who were just looking to have a good time.

Proceeds from the event will benefit over 8,000 children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual/development disabilities, as well as their families, supported by Clearbrook.
