Arts in Bartlett want to hear Your Family's Story

A new feature of its multicultural programming, Arts in Bartlett is looking for area 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation immigrants who would like to share the stories of how their family came to the United States and made it their new home.

"My Family's Story" project begins at the June 23-24 Global Arts Festival in Bartlett Park and continues through the summer. Recorded interviews will be transcribed and included in a blog, then archived at the Bartlett History Museum. Family photos around the time of immigration are welcome.

You do not have to be a resident of Bartlett. Those interested can call (630) 372-4152 or come to the Information Tent during the Festival to volunteer for an interview.
