Roselle Garden Walk features 6 scenic spots

Six of Roselle's most colorful gardens will be on display later this month when the park district's garden club sponsors its second annual Garden Walk.

The walk will take visitors to gardens across the village from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30. It also will feature a tour of the club's collaborative garden project with Roselle Elementary District 12.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local scholarships and construction of the Roselle Community IMPACT Garden.

Participants can visit the gardens at their own pace and local Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions.

Tickets are available at the front desk of the Roselle Park District Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., or at rparks.org.

Tickets are $15, with free admission for children younger than 12. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted.

Tickets also may be purchased the day of the event for $20, cash only. The ticket will-call booth will be at the Roselle History Museum, 39 E. Elm St., on the morning of the event.

The park district garden club is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to unify the community by promoting the passion of gardening and cultivating civic and environmental responsibility.
