MCCD offers 'STEEM Explorations in Nature!'

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, oh my! Everyone can benefit from building skills in these areas. Join McHenry County Conservation District for a family-friendly adventure of "STEEM Explorations … in Nature!"The program, which will weave the natural environment into these themes, will be 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake.

Visit stations with hands-on activities that pique your natural curiosity and foster critical thinking. Become more 'naturally' engaged as you explore a variety of STEEM concepts. Drop in for a little while or immerse yourselves in the afternoon's activities and have a great time in the natural world.

The conservation district is partnering with the Crystal Lake Public Library to bring you and your family this fun and educational experience with STEEM.
