Hidden Gems Garden Walk

Town and Country Garden Club of Libertyville presents it's annual Hidden Gems Garden Walk. Six beautiful and unique residential gardens are the true gems of this garden walk. Homes on this walk have a vast array of interesting features. From edibles to ornamentals, annuals and perennials, many pasted down from generations, ponds and streams, there is something for everyone. Several of the homes have dealt with buckthorn removal and can share their successful techniques. One exciting feature of this walk is a 1897 mansion built by Charles C. Copeland. "I am so excited for this years walk. I think it could be one of our best!" said Cynthia Dane, a garden club member. Beautiful, artistic garden containers prepared by our members will be offered for sale at one of the homes.

Hidden Gems Garden Walk will take place June 30th from 10AM - 3PM rain or shine. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 the day of and are available at the Libertyville Village Hall, Libertyville Farmers Market along with How Impressive! and Eclectic Design Source, both on Milwaukee Avenue. For more information, please contact Joyce at 847-362-8357 or Lmoosegeib@comcast.net.
