Wheaton preparing for annual 'Taste'

The Taste of Wheaton will run from May 31 to June 3 at Memorial Park, 208 W. Union Ave., and other locations in downtown.

The four-day event features a "Taste" of all that Wheaton has to offer, including entertainment at the Memorial Park band shell, carnival, arts & craft fair, Business After Hours event, Business Expo, food vendors, beer and wine garden, Art in the Park, climbing wall, and the Sunday Family Party in the Park. The Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals is at 7:30 a.m. June 2.

Festival hours are: 4 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31; 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 1; 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 2; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 3.
