Make your dream vacation a reality; come to CET's Travel Talks! on June 5

Finalize your 2018-19 travel plans at Community Education Travel's (CET) Travel Talks! on Tuesday, June 5, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.

If Sicily and Malta are on your bucket list of dream vacations, come to Travel Talks! and find out how to sign up for CET's upcoming trip on October 23 to November 4. Perfectly placed in the heart of the Mediterranean, Sicily has been luring travelers since the time of legends. Malta will mesmerize you with its megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso's Cave.

CET, known for its travels to exotic destinations, will enthrall you with details of what's waiting for you when you visit Greenland on July 9-17, 2019. You will be there during the time of the Midnight Sun where you will see amazing sunsets turning the glaciers into colors of fiery reds, oranges and yellows. You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Ilulissat Icefjord, home to the highest concentration of icebergs in Greenland. You will learn its history, hear the stories of Erik the Red and many

Icelandic sagas, make a stop at Itilleq, visit the 27 people who live in Igaliku, see lush valleys with summer flowers, and you might even see an arctic fox or a Greenlandic polar bear if you are lucky, and so much more.

Breakout sessions on U.S. and international destinations will include talks on Ireland, Autumn on the Mississippi, Tanzania, Italy, Southern Caribbean Cruise, St. Augustine, Nashville and Memphis and New Orleans.
