Area seniors invited to curated walk through forest preserves

Seniors are invited to join District naturalists each month on a leisurely stroll through a Kane County forest preserve. Learn about the natural and cultural history of each preserve. The strolls last about an hour, with social time and refreshments following the walk. No registration is required. Wear sturdy shoes and bring insect repellent and sunscreen. The next senior stroll will be held at noon Thursday, June 7, at John J. Duerr Forest Preserve, 35W003 Route 31, South Elgin
