Woodland Primary to Host Cultural Event May 22

Gages Lake-Woodland School District 50's Primary School will welcome Miss Jamie's Farm on May 22 to all Early Childhood and Woodland Early Learning Experience (WELE) students. Her popular music show shares values from life down on the farm through songs, both new and familiar, and incorporates her farm puppet friends.

Presentations will take place at the following times: 10:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. at the school, 17366 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake.

Jamie Blythe, also known as "Miss Jamie", was raised in the Texas hill country where she loved spending time with animals. She quickly found a passion for the arts and by high school was singing competitively and acting in commercials. She and her husband moved to Chicago in 2013, at which time they started the Miss Jamie's Farm kid's music show. Miss Jamie spends her time creating videos for www.MooooTube.com, writing books, recording songs, and helping to run her talent agency for family entertainment, and Midwest Talent Wranglers, LLC. Though far from her family's ranch in small town Texas, Jamie loves being able to bring "life down on the farm" to the children and families of Chicago and beyond.

This presentation is funded by the Woodland School District 50 Parent Teacher Association.
