The Rotary Club of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates donates at least $25,000 per year in community grants to local not for profit agencies. Qualifying agencies submit a grant request in the first quarter of the year and the club votes on which agencies and projects will receive funding.

On May 11 of this year the following agencies received grants in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $5,000: Wings, Special Leisure Services Foundation (SLSF), Campanelli YMCA, Child's Voice, Community Nutrition Network and Senior Services at the Barn of Schaumburg, Eisenhower Junior High, Journeys the Road Home, Kenneth Young Center, Partners for our Community, Shelter, Inc. and the Backyard Experience.

To be considered for a community grant in 2019, agencies may check the club's website in March and complete the application by the deadline listed. That website is https://portal.clubrunner.ca/2404.
